Amongst all the places vying for your attention on this fashionable two-mile stretch, is the King’s Road Market. Curated by Patridges, the world-renowned grocer to the late Queen Elizabeth II, this open-air market offers artisanal and locally produced food.
Here, you’ll find handmade speciality bread, cakes, pastries and cookies, along with independent coffee brands, condiments, confectionary and organic farm products.
The market operates every Saturday from 10 am to 4 pm, and you can find a list of the upcoming stallholders here. As the products are created by passionate artisans, or rather startisans, be prepared to fall in love with the eclectic tastes and flavours of the samples made freely available.
You should arrive early if you want to avoid crowds, as the King’s Road Market is incredibly popular with travellers and tourists, as well as locals.
